Dogs cannot eat the husk as well. It is also fine to feed raw peas to your dogs but they may not get the benefits because they are harder for dogs to digest.

Are Peas Bad for Dogs Too?

Peas husk may not be digestible for dogs. If you find it hard to eat it you then should not offer it to your dog as well. You should not feed peas to your dogs with kidney problems. Purine is a compound in peas that can disturb the stomach of dogs. It is good to feed peas in small quantities to dogs who never ate them before. If your peas’ meal contains onions or garlic, don’t share with you dog as it can prove to be toxic for him.
